Coach Terms

These Coach Terms are an agreement between you and TRAFFIXORA OÜ, registry code 17543319, registered in Estonia ("RIVEN", "we", "us"), which operates RIVEN Academy. They apply when you apply to coach and for as long as you coach. They add to the general Terms of Service, which still apply to your account; where the two differ on coaching, these Coach Terms prevail.

You coach as an independent contractor. You are not an employee, agent, partner or representative of RIVEN, and you cannot bind RIVEN to anything. You choose your own tools, hours and teaching methods, and you are free to coach elsewhere: there is no exclusivity. RIVEN provides the marketplace, holds buyers’ payments and pays you your share; it does not direct how a session is taught.

• ▸You are at least 18 years old.
• ▸You are not resident in, and do not coach from, Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria or Cuba. An application declaring one of those countries is refused.
• ▸You hold one coach account only, in your own name.
• ▸Everything you tell us in your application and afterwards is accurate and kept up to date.

Your application includes an image of a government-issued identity document. It is held in a private store readable only by RIVEN staff, and a person reviews it before your application is approved. Your identity must be verified before your first payout is released. We may ask you to verify again — for example if your details change or a payout looks unusual — and we may pause approval or payouts until you do.

You may also attach a CV (PDF or Word) to your application. It is optional, it is used only to assess your application, and it is held in the same private store, where only the RIVEN staff who review coach applications can open it. It is kept for as long as your RIVEN account exists and is deleted, with your identity document, when you delete the account.

• ▸You sell Rust coaching only: live sessions, VOD reviews, courses and guides.
• ▸No account sharing, account boosting or playing on a buyer’s account, and no cheats, exploits, scripts or macros — taught, sold or used.
• ▸No harassment, abuse or discrimination towards buyers or anyone else.
• ▸No asking buyers to pay you outside RIVEN for anything listed or booked here.
• ▸Use a buyer’s contact details only to deliver what they bought, and do not keep them longer than that requires.
• ▸Deliver what your listing describes, and be on time for booked sessions.

When a player books a 1-on-1 session, the price is taken from their wallet and held by RIVEN. You are not paid at that point.

• ▸You must confirm the booking from your coach console within 48 hours of it being made and before the start time. If you do not, the buyer is refunded in full automatically.
• ▸If you cancel a booking, the buyer is refunded in full.
• ▸The buyer may cancel a booking you have not yet confirmed, for a full refund.
• ▸After the session starts, the buyer can confirm it took place, which releases the payment to you, or report a problem, which keeps it held while our staff review it and either release it to you or refund the buyer.
• ▸If the buyer does neither, the payment is released to you automatically 3 days after the scheduled end of the session.
• ▸For VOD reviews, courses and guides bought through the cart, your share is held for 7 days after purchase before it becomes payable.

RIVEN keeps a platform fee of 20% of every coaching sale and you receive the remaining 80%. The split is calculated per sale and shown on your coach console. Your share becomes payable once it is released under section 6. Earnings are recorded against your coach account; they are never a RIVEN wallet balance and cannot be spent on the marketplace.

• ▸Withdrawals are made by manual bank transfer only, to a bank account in your own name (IBAN and BIC). We do not pay to cards, PayPal, Wise, crypto wallets or any other method.
• ▸The minimum withdrawal is €50 per request. Your payable balance is recorded in US dollars and converted at the European Central Bank reference rate on the day of the request.
• ▸You request a withdrawal from your coach console. Each request is reviewed by a person and is normally paid within 5 working days.
• ▸We may hold a payout while verification is pending, or where we reasonably suspect fraud, a sanctions issue or a breach of these terms.

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your own earnings.

You may stop coaching at any time by telling us from your coach console or by email. We may suspend or remove your coach account for a breach of these terms, fraud, a sanctions issue, or complaints about your conduct. When coaching ends for any reason, bookings still held in escrow are refunded to the buyers, and earnings already released remain payable to you, subject to identity verification.

When these terms change materially we publish a new version with a new date on this page. Continuing to coach after a new version takes effect, or accepting it when asked on your coach console, means you accept it.

These Coach Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, Estonia has jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
